Overture

Belasting is an Indonesian rock band from Ambon, Molucca, formed in February 2007. The band consists of lead vocalist Romi Blank, guitarist and backing vocalist Tumpal Tobing, guitarist and backing vocalist Ijal Lubis, bassist Widy Vici, and drummer Hanan Haq.

The name Belasting derived from "be lasting", represent the band's hope that they will endure, make constant creations, and well appreciated.Belasting released its debut indie album, Satu Kata, in 2012

In search for greater opportunities, Belasting moved to Jakarta in early 2014.
